Pear Muffins

Week one of school holidays has come to an end and I am still here, haven't gone crazy yet but hey, there's still time!

We have done a few things together this week and these muffins were a good outdoor treat for the little ones.

It's a quick recipe if you have people coming over and smell absolutely delicious coming out of the oven.

If you don't have sour cream in the fridge, just use yoghurt instead.

Pear Muffins

  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice

  • raw sugar & rolled oats for topping

  • sift flour and spices in another bowl, add oats and mix to combine

I love the pear muffin recipe, yum! And my small girl would be gaga over your tin, she is mad about The Wind in the Willows at the moment - drawing pictures, acting out the parts of her favourite characters! What a great find that was :)

Hi Cathie, Am enjoying your blog, but unfortunately my computer( for some bizarre reason) has a mind of it's own when it comes to your blog and I have very little control over where the cursor and page goes...weird. Anyway love your recipes and ideas and will visit when I'm allowed!

It's cold and windy here today and turning the oven on for a spot of baking I think would be just the ticket.
...and I love that tin!

I'm always looking for new muffin ideas - especially those with hidden fruit! I'll definitely be trying these Cathie. And as for that tin - a severe case of op shop envy happening here!

Enjoy the coming week with your gorgeous little peeps.
